2021 Mock Kickoff Run

Here's what I'm planning. Its 2wd friendly.

When: Saturday Feb 6th and Sunday Feb 7th

Time: 10:00AM Meet Up at Pilot Gas Station on 411th Ave and the I-10 HERE: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.4940208,-112.9374255,290m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en

Where: We run Big Horn Mountain/Hummingbird Springs Wilderness the reverse way. Cross Eagle Eye Rd and then go to the top of Harquahala Mt. Have dinner and camp on the highest peak (5,681 ft)  in SW Arizona.

Sunday Feb 7 we head down the Mountain, go home, relax and watch the Super Bowl.

Coms: CB Ch 17

Weather: Sunny with high 60s during the day and high 30s at night.

Bring firewood. Camping is at the peak of the mountain. No trees up there.

I've camped up on that mountain twice. Both times it was windy AF! Also note that "some" 2wd trucks may struggle in a few small sections of the trail. They can easily be helped up the trail with a strap.

Be prepared to be blown all to heck. Be prepared to not have a camp fire.

Aside from the windy camping it's a beautiful place!
